I have been looking for a good cheesecake recipe for several months now, and this one makes my mouth water just looking at it. I have been intimidated by the idea of making a homemade cheesecake, so complex and so many flavor options. It also seems to me people are very opinionated about cheesecakes, they either love ‘em or hate ‘em. My sweetie is a huge cheesecake lover and I really want to make something he will want to rave about.
I also like the no-can approach taken with this. In an attempt to cook healthier, I am trying to cut back, if not eliminate, processed foods from my cooking. This has meant more work on my part, but I feel better eating things that I know exactly where every single item in the dish came from. It has it’s pros and cons, but I am going to try and stick with it for a while and see if I can feel a measurable benifit. But enough with the chatting, on to the yummy stuff!
